We have been working extra hard planning for Addy's 1st birthday party....

She helped mommy pick out the paper goods for the party! Pink and brown polka dots...

Just two months and our baby girl will be turning ONE!

10 Months Old

Only two more months and our baby girl will be turning ONE! I know, I know, I say this every month, she is growing up way to fast. In this past month she has learned:

• what the word no means... she is very curious about everything including what is inside the toilet YUCK!
• After looking to see what is in the toilet she learned to roll down the toilet paper!
• she can now say 7 words Mama, Daddy, Pa, Papa, Dub (Papa and Nanna's dog), baby, and sis.
• she has learned to drink out of a straw.
• she got her very first pair of shoes
• she went to her very first birthday party for her friend Mackenzi and had a blast
• she can pull herself up and stand without any help. She hasn't taken a step yet but is very close. ( I think that will be coming very soon in an upcoming post) : )
• she kisses her baby and then lets mommy kiss the baby too!

This has been an awesome 1o months! Thank you God for every second that we get to spend with our sweet little girl. We are so blessed to have her. You truly are amazing and we don't thank you enough!

This post is especially for my best friend Allison! She got this adorable outfit for Addy and sent it to us in the mail. She is so sweet and we love her so much, just wish that she lived a little closer so we could do things together more often!

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July! We sure did! We went to a picnic at the park and had some yummy bbq and spent some time with some close friends and family. After the picnic was over we went to Nanna and Papas to go swimming. There was a whole bunch of people over to swim and it rained the whole. Even though we couldn't swim we all had fun eating pizza and playing cards and just spending time together. It was tons of fun!

On Friday night we took Addy to see the fireworks and she loved them! I was worried that the noise was going to bother her but she didn't seem to mind it. She watched them in aww. Here are some pictures of our 4th festivities...

Trip to the Farmers Market

On Friday Mom, Topher and I decided to take off to the Farmers Market in Nashville. I had saw it on the news and seen how it was really growing and had a whole lot of new places to eat. We ate at a Greek restaurant and it was delicious! Mom and I love Greek food. Addy slept the whole time we were there. We got some really nice looking produce. I got peaches, some white crowder beans (never had them and can't wait to try them), avocados, and some new potatoes. We had a really good time. We will have to go back soon!

A Week of First's!

Addyson has learned all kinds of new things this week! On Tuesday Addyson learned how to drink out of a straw. She does really good with it. On Wednesday we took her to get her first pair of shoes. She was so proud of them. She would just sit there and look at them and smile. It was the cutest thing. On Sunday we went to Jimmy's parents and let Addy down in the floor and the first thing that she went to was the stairs! She climbed right up them. I was shocked that it just took her one time to learn to get up them. Addy is really learning a lot. She is so smart. I can't wait to share some more first with you!

P.S. Oh yeah yesterday she blew a kiss for the first time! I have been working on that with her forever and she finally did it! I was so proud of her!
