Do-Re-Mi

This is the pavillion where they are eating Breakfast and Lunch and also having assembly.

What have we been doing this week?  Spending a total of  8 hours in Sam's Club or GFS to buy food to feed 150 people for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 6 days, a "few" hours cleaning dorm rooms, and much much more! This is all to get ready for a big week at Do-Re-Mi Gospel Music School. This is the first year at their own facility that has been built over the past year. Dad has poured every last ounce of energy he has to make sure that this was built before this week. And as of 11:30 on Saturday night it was ready for the Students to begin showing up for the week!

I know you all are wondering what is Do-Re-Mi? The purpose of Do Re Mi is to preserve and promote the rich heritage of shape note gospel music. Our goal is to improve church music. Following the spirit of God is foremost in our daily activities. Recognizing our daily duty to God formulates our theme, "Doing our best for God." He has done so very much for us. Head on over to their website for more information. This school means a lot to our family. I attented the school for about 4 years. It was such a great time of fellowship and learning about music. So glad to be a part of this wonderful school!!

Trying to Decide on Pots and Pans

Well I have been putting this off forever. My pots and pans look terrible. They are the Tephlon kind and have started to look really bad and I know that it is really bad for you to eat out of the pots since they are peeling. It is definetley time to get new ones, but which ones should I buy? I don't want to spend a lot of money but I want a good set that is going to last me. They also have to look good because they are going to be hanging from a pot rack when we move. Here are some that I have thought about but not sure if they are good quality. What do you think ?

I know you are probably thinking man this girl is crazy about giveaways. Well I am. Why not try to win something instead of paying full price for it. This is something that I would really love to win. I have been looking at these before I even had my baby girl. A few friends of mine at church swear by their Ergos. This is just a must have in my eyes. I love this galaxy grey carrier. It is very versatile either for a boy or a girl. I have tried other baby carriers such as the becco carriers and Ergo is definetly the best one in my book!

I really really really would love to win this giveaway. It would be perfect for when we make our big trip to visit my parents and brothers in Alaska.
