Addyson at 12 Months

Addyson has had a busy month of learning:

  • She learned to tell you that she wanted you with her hand

  • She learned to say dog

  • She learned to say Chris and Alec AKA Alex

  • She got rid of her bottles and started to drink out of a sippy cup all the time.

  • She started to drink whole milk

  • She ate Ice cream for the first time

  • She ate cake for the first time

  • She ate a dougnut for the first time

  • She got a new chair that she loves to sit in and watch football with her daddy

  • She learned to raise her hands in the air when her daddy said TOUCHDOWN

  • She learned to keep a plate on the table, but also learned to throw food in the floor.

  • Started to like to watch t.v especially Handy Manny and Word World

  • She is loving her Daddy so so much. That is all she talks about all day long.

  • She loves taking baths very much.

  • She learned to walk with her push toy down the hall way and all through the kitchen

  • She still only has two teeth!

  • She took her first two steps...

  • She still needs a little bit more confidence to start walking. She sits down every time you let go.

  • She is getting sweeter everyday.

Wow what a month! I am sure next month will be just as big. Hopefully next month we can say she is walking. But o' well just take your time sweet baby girl.

This time last year I was laying in a hospital bed when they told me something that I didn't expect! I am sorry but you are more than likely going to have to have a c-section. But little did I know c-section or not I was fixing to have the second best life changing experience that you could ever have.(First of course was the day that the Lord saved me by His wonderful grace). Our sweet baby girl was born. When the nurse brought her to us for the first time we were just in aww of how beautiful she was. She had 10 tiny toes and 10 tiny fingers. A beautiful complexion and the softest skin you have ever felt. The brightest eyes and the cutest nose! She was just perfect!

Man how time flys, today she is turning one year old. She still has the brightest eyes and the cutest nose and the softest skin you have ever felt but she also is a ball of energy, full of personality, and melts mine and daddy's heart every time she gives us that cute little smile. We are so glad that the Lord has seen fit for us to make it to Addyson's first year. I feel that any time that you have had the chance to spend another year with your child is a blessing. We are so thankful for every minute we have spent with her so far. We are looking forward to making many memories in this coming year!

Babysitting, Good friends, Working consignment, and TOUCHDOWN

Ella, Dace, and Addyson playing Franklin Match...

Brian and Addyson...

Brian, Allison, and Addy...

Addyson and her Daddy doing their Touchdown signals. You just have to say touchdown and she will raise her hands in the air!

Well doesn't that sound like a crazy title for a post! That was our weekend! On Friday night our best friends asked us if we would keep their kids so they could go out for her birthday. So we decided to keep them. Addyson loves playing with Ella and Dace so much. They play so good together. We played a Franklin match game and watched the new Hannah Montana movie. We had a really fun time...

Saturday my best friend from High school that I don't get to see very often called to see if we wanted to go out to eat. I was so excited that we were going to get to see Allison and Brian. They are both just so sweet and we love them so much! We went and got something to eat and then came back to our house. We enjoyed the time that we got to spend with them. Hope that we can do that more often!

Sunday night I was scheduled to work a consignment so I can get to go to the pre-sale. So Jimmy kept Addyson while I went to work it. It was a lot of fun. I got to check in the clothes that people brought. I was really picky on what I chose to put in the sale! It was really nice to be able to see what was going to be in the sale so I could get my game plan ready for what I want to go after first at the sale! haha just kidding! But it was nice to see what was coming in!

While I was gone working the consignment Addy was at home with her daddy watching football. He taught her how to raise her hands up in the air for a touch down. It was the cutest thing ever. She is one smart little girl! I just love her so much!

Well that was how are weekend went. Hope everyone had as good of a weekend as we had! Looking forward to a good and busy week!

Labor Day Weekend

Daddy and Addyson both love their Krispy Kreme's....
Watching Word World and drinking her milk in her new chair....

Eating a doughnut for the first time...

So this weekend we went to get Addyson's birthday present. We just had to give it to her ! We couldn't wait another week. We got her a polka dot oversized chair. I thought that she may just sit in it one time and not have anything to do with it. But I was wrong because she adores it. She hasn't really been to big into watching TV and this morning I walked around the corner and there she was sitting in her chair drinking her milk watchin Word World.

On Labor Day we went to Chick-Fil-A. They were giving out FREE Chick-Fil-A sandwiches when you wore your favorite sports team logo. So we all three got are team logos on and met Mom and Dad and Topher there. It was tons of fun and very crowded.

Addy also had her first taste of Krispy Kreme doughnuts! Daddy has wanted to have some doughnuts for over 2 weeks and every time we would go to get some they would be closed. So Monday they just happened to be open when I was out. You can tell by the pictures Daddy and Addyson both loved their Krispy Kreme's!

We had such a good long weekend together! So glad we three got to spend a lot of time together. It was really nice. I hope you enjoy these sweet pictures!

Back to Sewing....

Finally... I now have started to sew again! There is something about Fall that makes me want to just start finding all kinds of new things to make. Yesterday while Addyson was taking her nap I made her the cutest little apron. If you are intrested in one of these cute little aprons head on over to my sewing blog Sew and Tell By: Amanda
